dragon family held a workshop at PSG and i was sitting there with my friend otterdancing with her poking my back at everything you and larry said regarding relationships and nests. you guys were too sensible so i joined CAW.

I think my first memory of you is when we were on a panel together at WisCon about SF and Paganism. I was thrilled to me you a real life author whom I had read and liked. I also remember a local famous Pagan leader who tried to take over the whole panel from the floor. You made a much better impression.

Three or four memories

I thought for a second that I could name three, but I think there were actually four, now that I've had 30 seconds to think about it! The weekend visit -- I was dating Jane Freitag hard and heavy, but in the middle of this, came down to see you and Warren. It was just a great time. (I met Chi, but was never at all close to her.) Proofreading and kinda sorta workshopping your three novels, and being blessed by the chance to see them in print (and introducing you to Jim Frenkel, for that matter). A really intense correspondence -- I had forgotten just how many topics we'd covered and how many letters there actually were. And the time we went to hear a concert by the Milwaukee songwriters' association, whatever the group was called -- it was convenient because it was so close to Lytheria, where you were living at the time, but there was hardly anybody there. So yes, these are memories. I hope to see you again someday, too!

I remember your listening to me chat away under the influence of sacrament and when I commented that I seemed to be taking over the experience with my constant talk you brought everything into perspective with a simple question: What makes you think we are listening? :)

I don't have many in person memories of you. A lot of little ones from an organization we were both members of and active in. Some from the board, some just from the social lists. I believe we met briefly at an AGM in Kansas? The year Jim was first elected secretary and was running against me.
